Why Working Life in KL sucks?

After been expose 2 a month of KL's working life......i discovered that why ppl working KL are frustrated all the time...i am feeling that too...coz im recently exposed to KL's real working life..basically the details can be sum up to a word which is 'STRESS' ! and this y malaysian work force is so unproductive .
why? Let me tell you ,
1. Traffic - every morning every1 gotta endure those unbearable jams b4 reaching the work
place on time....upon reaching the office...our mental has already been affected by
the traffic jam cause us to be a lil bit....unspirited and then another period of stressness in jam
after work. sienzzzz

2. Finance - most of the working ppl are earning way below then wad they deserve...they work
their ass off....but been paid lowly...and the present rise in cost of living in kl put a
final knock out to most labours in malaysia...everyday every1 gotta pay
unreasonable toll rates , expensive petrol prices , expensive foods...basically
no matter how much they earn, 3/4 of it goes to this expenses. (as for me i forking
out my own money just to go work because i undergoing an industrial training ,
FYI 'YTL Corp' is very kedekut!!!!!!!!!!!! i am realli struggling financially due to
those expenses..sigh) As for food , yea yea...no doubt u can save up abit of money
if u choose to cook urself....but honestly...where the hell we can find the time...for
example myself....everytime i planned to cook it will eventually turn out i go tapau n
eat theres goes additional cost of living... this is because by the time i get off work n go thru the traffic to reach home , is already 7-8pm and ure so tired to even walk to the kitchen n prepare food. All this financial problem will definetely have a bad impact to every worker's mental
health

3. Working environment - is proven that 7/10 ppl are not working in their favourite occupation
this cause the lack of passion and self improvement to be better. When
this happen , you are not at ur best potential to prove urself...and
what makes things worst is u get f**ked by ur boss for not showing
a good performance this will eventually end up in = stress!

4. Balancing ur life - okay , as most ppl would say..it is important that u balance ur working life
ur social life properly in order to assure a health mental state...oh well...
whenever it comes to sundays or public holidays , most of us will prefer to
just stay home and do ntg...even when ur frenz call u up to lepak..u will
think twice ' will it be jam? ' ' i no money la, fu*king broke d' this u end up
passing those offers....

all this thing sum up to an unhealthy lifestyle and it eventually causing us to suffer from hypertension , high blood pressure , high cholesterol..etc...seriously this kind of working life gotta change...gov sud do sumting to help their labour force....help us by giving us a better public transport system...set a standard for wages of the employee...find a solution to reduce to cost of living effectively.

ok enuf crap...time 4 me to sleep b4 i undergo another sucky day at work ~tata~

Jungle's Parliament

I got off work early today due to machine failure , reached home early and got nothing to do besides waiting for my beloved budak to come over to cook dinner. Out of the boredom i decided to blog a lil bit regarding our country's current affairs....Lets talk about Parliament's 1st Session. Firstly i would like to applaud our current BN goverment to allow 30 mins live telecast on the parliament proceedings....with this available option , the 'rakyat' finally got the chance to see how the YBs YBs we voted in the house monkey around.. To be honest, i realli cant believe that the MPs we voted in, acted so childish in the house...come on guys , most of u all are regarded as the wise and rational adults we voted in to represent us....and what you guys did was just making fool of yourself...cant you guys debated like a true professional and discuss a rather much important issue at hand?Even my varsity's student representative council could be more professional that you so called 'YBs'. Lets take YB Karpal Singh for an example , why on earth you provoke the BN reps by calling Kinabatangan MP Bung Mokthar 'big foot', come on... you know for sure that it will just provoke unnecessary retaliation from BN. Cant you just begin your question without those childish act? I am a registered rakyat who will voted for those who really can voice up our needs and not just based which party their from either BN or Pakatan Rakyat. BN was not that mature either , the YB from Pasir Mas stood up and interupted Karpal Singh's question and raised a rather idiotic comment ' Saya tak pernah nampak kamu minta kebenaran untuk berdiri pun? ' or something sounded like that.. Hey come on? you blind ar?? or just plain looking down on the disable? OMG i really could believe the country actually voted u monkeys to represent us...i realli wish that there will exist another party in the near future which nothing like BN or PR. I really true agree with Mr.Lim Kit Siang that what we are practising here is not a First World Parliament but a 50th World Parliament...actually Mr.Lim..i think this is the parliament for the jungle...sighhhh...no offence to MPs who might get the chance to read my blog....i truely apologise if my blog offended you but this is what the rakyat are actualli thinking..this is the reality...your new generation rakyat are now more educated and wise....what we want is the government to do the very best for our people from all races and religion...we are just 1 small tiny country if we do not unite and strive for improvement ...we will never be a first world and developed country ...we will remain uncompetitive....think of it YBs..this wat your children needs and want.

Labor Day

May Day / International Labor Day

Other countries celebrate International Labor day (also known as May Day) on May 1. The date was adopted in Canada in 1894 and by socialist delegates in Paris in 1889, in commemoration of the Haymarket Square Riot in Chicago of 1886. Fearing a commemoration of socialism, US President Grover Cleveland opted for the holiday to take place in September, honoring the original Labor Day parade of 1882.
International Labor History
Although there were associations of journeymen under the medieval system of guilds, labor unions were essentially the product of the Industrial Revolution. In Great Britain after the French Revolution, fear of uprisings by the working classes led to passage of the Combination Acts, declaring unions illegal. Although those acts were repealed (1824), little progress was made in union growth until the organization of miners and textile workers in the 1860s, after which the struggle for legal recognition was waged with vigor. After the Trade Union Act of 1871, British labor unions were guaranteed legal recognition, although it required the laws of 1913 and 1915 to assure their status. In the latter part of the 19th cent. the socialist movement made headway among trade unionists, and James Keir Hardie induced (1893) the trade unions to join forces with the socialists in the Independent Labor party. The central organization of the British trade unions, the Trades Union Congress was formed in 1868 to coordinate and formulate policy on behalf of the whole labor movement.
Labor unions developed differently on the Continent than they did in Great Britain and in the United States, mainly because the European unions organized along industrial rather than along craft lines and because they engaged in more partisan political activity. In Germany the printers' and cigarmakers' unions were started after the uprisings of 1848; German unions until World War I were responsible for much social legislation. In France labor unions were organized in the early part of the 19th cent. but received no legal recognition until 1884. In most European countries labor organizations either are political parties or are affiliated with political parties, usually left-wing ones. In some European countries, notably Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands, there are rival Christian and Socialist trade-union movements. In Russia, trade unions first appeared on a considerable scale in the revolution of 1905 but were later stamped out. They reappeared in the 1917 revolution and became highly organized in a national movement under Communist control. Between the revolution and fall of the Communist party in 1991, the trade-union movement in the Soviet Union was mainly an instrument of the state in its drive for higher industrial production.
In the Third World
Organized labor in the Third World, although generally small numerically, has played a disproportionately large role in political developments in those countries. Many union movements in the underdeveloped countries, particularly in Asia and Africa, rising on the wave of nationalism, have led anticolonial movements toward political independence; the leaders of many newly independent nations have owed their rise largely to the support of workers they have organized. In Latin America, too, labor unions are a powerful force, constituting as they do the most important mass political organizations in the nations of that region.
International Organizations
Internationally, world trade unionism was split after 1949 between two rival organizations: the, largely Communist, World Federation of Trade Unions (WTFU), originally set up in 1945, and the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU), founded in 1949 by member unions that had withdrawn from the WTFU in protest against its Communist domination. The international federations are recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO), and there is close cooperation between the ICFTU and UNESCO in the field of education. The International Labor Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations; some of its aims include raising living standards, improving working conditions, gaining recognition of the right to collective bargaining, and the protection of workers' health.
